The information on this website is published to help you decide whether to bring your vehicle to us. It is general information about our workshop and the work we do — it is not a diagnosis of your vehicle, and it is not a quotation.
1. Diagnosis Is a Professional Opinion
A diagnosis is our technician’s assessment of the fault based on the vehicle’s condition and behaviour at the time of inspection. It is an opinion formed by testing, not a certainty about every part of the vehicle.
- An intermittent fault may not be present when the vehicle is with us. We will tell you if that limits what we can confirm.
- Faults can be layered: repairing the confirmed cause may reveal a second, previously masked fault.
- We do not guarantee that a repair will reveal every existing or developing problem, or that no further fault will occur.
- Where we cannot confirm a cause without dismantling or extended testing, we will say so and agree the next step with you before doing it.
2. Estimates and Prices
Estimates are based on the information available when they are prepared, including the symptoms described and what we can see and measure. They are not fixed-price contracts unless we say so in writing.
- Published price ranges, if any, are examples only and do not constitute an offer.
- Prices exclude applicable taxes and any work you have not authorised.
- If additional work is needed, we contact you for approval before carrying it out. Nothing is added to your bill without your agreement.
- Parts availability and supplier pricing can change the figure; if it does, we tell you before proceeding.
3. Repairs and Parts
We fit parts that match the vehicle’s specification as closely as the market allows. Where an original part is no longer manufactured, we will explain the alternatives and let you choose.
- Customer-supplied parts are fitted at your request; our parts warranty does not extend to them.
- Replaced parts are normally kept for your inspection. If you ask us to dispose of them, we may not be able to support a later claim.
- Manifest damage caused by worn or corroded components being disturbed during a repair will be reported to you before we continue.
4. Advice Published on This Site
General maintenance guidance on this Site — service intervals, symptoms, likely causes — is offered for information only. It does not replace an inspection of your specific vehicle, and it should not be treated as a recommendation to delay or attempt a repair yourself. Work carried out on safety systems (brakes, steering, airbags, high-voltage systems) should only be done by a qualified technician.
5. Third-Party Content and Links
Where we link to another website — a parts supplier, a manufacturer, a mapping service — we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices.
6. Photography and Illustrations
Photographs on this Site may include stock or licensed imagery used while we shoot our own workshop, and are credited where required. Images illustrate the type of work we do; they do not depict every vehicle we have worked on.
7. No Professional Relationship Beyond the Repair
Nothing on this Site creates a contract for repair work, an agency relationship, or a warranty. A repair contract exists only when you authorise work — verbally or in writing — and we accept the vehicle for that work. Warranty terms are set out on our Warranty page and in our Terms of Service.
If you have a question about a specific vehicle or repair, contact us directly at +1 (520) 724-0551 or info@auto-master.site — a real answer beats a page of general guidance.
